I'm glad you're here. I practice Counseling and Therapy for growth and change. Helping clients improve their life and relationships is my goal and something I genuinely enjoy.
I'm pleased to offer you the benefits of 20 years in the field, PhD-level training, and specialized expertise with men, couples, porn/sexual addiction, college students, and young adults.
As a longtime runner with many distance races under my belt, I understand the challenges and rewards of setting your goals and investing the work to cross the finish line. I value the opportunity to help you reach your goals with a supportive, nonjudgmental approach.
I've been privileged to work with a wide range of clients: business professionals, pro and college athletes, national media personalities, college students, military, and retired folks among them.
How may I help you?

Men have their own unique concerns and life experiences that have not always been well served in counseling practices. Here guys can talk it out in a space where men are welcome and understood. Some issues can look different in males. Sometimes guys are just more comfortable opening up with another guy. Sessions focus on realistic choices and tools to make life better.
The Gottman Method was developed to provide a research and evidence-based approach to couple counseling. Dr. Bozard completed specialized training in Gottman Method, which he has used to help couples for a decade. Start with several 90-minute sessions that use assessments, comprehensive interviews, and focused techniques to quickly equip couples for change.
Many people today--especially men--struggle privately with excessive use of porn, social media, social apps, and other forms of sexual addiction. Both individual well-being and significant relationships can be impacted. Dr. Bozard draws from specialized education, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and years of clinical experience with men to break the cycle and guide you through recovery.
The young adult years bring unique challenges involving college, career, relationships, identity, and life stage transitions. Dr. Bozard practiced for eight years in university-related contexts and continues to emphasize helping young adults, whether college students or career professionals.

Center Circle Counseling was founded in 2016 with a different name and broader mission. In 2021 we adopted our current name in conjunction with a more specialized client focus.
We are a private practice that sees clients on a self-pay basis. This means we are small enough to give personal service. It means we are not limited by insurance companies telling you and us what we can and cannot do in helping you reach your goals. Unlike larger multi-therapist practices where therapists may come and go, your therapist here is highly experienced and committed to serving clients through this practice.
Your therapist Dr. Bozard is a PhD-level Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Heath Counselor who offers talk-based mental health and couple therapy. He is not a psychiatrist and therefore does not prescribe medication but can assist with connecting you with a prescriber as needed.

Center Circle is a self-pay, private practice. We are out of network for all insurance. Out-of-network benefits may apply; consult your specific plan. Couple counseling is typically not covered by insurance. Not being in network allows for greater protection of client confidentiality and enables us to keep the focus on doing what's best for our client.

The center circle is the place in several sports where play begins at mid-field or mid-court. Face-offs between players happen in the center circle. The counseling experience might be seen as a crucial starting place for making lasting change in life-a place to "face off" with life's challenges and concerns.
A center circle might also be seen in a more general sense as a place of focus. Being in the spotlight, in a good way. For people who've been avoiding making themselves and their wellness a priority, having a welcoming, nonjudgmental place to be the center of attention can be a life-altering opportunity.
The images of center and circle have symbolic meaning for life. A healthy life is one that is centered, or grounded, in mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.
Circles have traditionally represented wholeness or completion. Center Circle is a place to begin a new stage of play in life, with the goal of becoming more whole.
