Gottman Method for Healthy Relationships is a form of couple-focused therapy and education derived from the extensive research of John Gottman over 40 years. Gottman Method is reputed to be the most research-based approach to couple therapy in the world, which means it is solid and proven. The method is especially helpful in improving communication, intimacy, and conflict resolution. Components may include Identifying the Four Horsemen of Relationship Destruction, Building a Strong Foundation, Managing Conflict, and Creating Shared Meaning.
Over a decade of experience as a Level 1 Gottman Method practitioner powers my work with couples. I draw primarily from Gottman Method principles and techniques but also integrate other approaches when relevant to your unique circumstances and needs.
